Manjar Blanco (Peruvian recipes)

Delicious Peruvian Manjar blanco:

The Manjar blanco, is a delicious flesh-colored cream, and sweet flavor; prepared with condensed milk, and distributed nationwide, along with the famous Peruvian roscas (flour nuggets), with which it is enjoyed. In Peru, its rapid distribution comes from tourist destinations such as: the department of Cajamarca (city with the largest distribution throughout Peru), and places that depart from the Peruvian highlands. One of its frequent uses as cream, are in the various preparations used to decorate homemade cakes, and birthday parties.

Peruvian Manjarblanco

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of condensed milk.

Recipe procedure:

  1. Put the unopened can of milk on a pot.
  2. And make a bain-marie, that is, pour water over the pot and fill almost to the top of the can.
  3. Cook for 2 hours.

Note: Do not forget to remove the label from the milk can. Remember that this recipe is a way to prepare blancmange easily and quickly.
