The choclo a la huancaína, is a food that comes from the Peruvian gastronomy, and it is one of the less known dishes. Its preparation consists of cooking ingredients in an easy and fast way, since these ingredients can be found locally. Today we will show you a very easy procedure. Ingredients:
- 6 tender corn.
- 200 grams of fresh cheese.
- 3 fresh chili peppers.
- ½ cup of milk.
- ½ cup of oil.
- 3 hard-boiled eggs.
- 6 botija olives.
- Lettuce leaves.
- Salt.
- Pepper.
Procedure of the recipe.
- Blend the cheese with the milk, season with salt, pepper and toothpick.
- In a saucepan heat the oil; then add the previous preparation, from procedure 1, and stir constantly until the sauce is uniform (if necessary, add a little more milk).
- In a separate pot, boil the corn in water with sugar and lemon drops. Once they are cooked and drained, arrange them on a platter, covered with sauce and decorated with slices of hard-boiled egg, olives, and lettuce leaves.
