The classic Hangman game, now designed for the little ones! In Hangman Kids, players must guess a secret word letter by letter before the drawing of a friendly character is completed. Each mistake is reflected in the drawing, but don’t worry, with a little creativity and teamwork, you can save the main character! Perfect for learning new words, improving spelling, and having fun at the same time. Are you ready to play?
The Hangman game is one of the most popular classics for spending a fun time with family. Its objective is to guess the word that a player has thought of, using the letters that make it up.
The game begins when one player chooses a word (which can be more or less easy) and writes as many dashes as there are letters in the word on a piece of paper. The other players, in turn, must guess letters. If they guess correctly, the player who thought of the word writes the letter in the corresponding dash. If the letter is repeated, it is placed in all the places where it appears.
For each incorrect letter, the player who has chosen the word draws one part of the hangman figure.
The game continues until one of the players guesses the full word or until the hangman figure is completely drawn. The winner is the first person to guess the word before the drawing is complete. If the hangman figure is completed first, the player who thought of the word wins.
This game not only tests memory and spelling, but also promotes teamwork and fun.

ACL Recetas Gaming presents: 2 word games to enjoy with your family
From A to Z: The Word Game
Test your creativity! Fill in each box with a word that starts with the assigned letter of the alphabet.
Category | A | B | C | D | E |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Animals | |||||
Colors |
1-From A to Z:
The word game Necessary materials:
Paper, pen, and a lot of energy to play.
How to play? Create the template: Draw a table with boxes, placing the categories everyone decides on at the top. Example categories: Animals Colors Names Countries Brands Food Movies Places Choose a letter: In each round, a letter from the alphabet is chosen. For example, if the letter is “A”, players must think of words that start with “A” for each category.
Fill in the boxes: Each player must write a word that starts with that letter for each established category. The round ends when someone completes all the boxes and says “Stop!”
Scoring: Incomplete categories do not count for points. Repeated words count as 5 points (to encourage creativity, only identical words count). Unique words (that are not repeated by other players) count as 10 points.
The Winner: The player with the most points after all rounds wins the game!
2-The Silent TV: The Game of Imagination and Creativity
Objective:
Stimulate the imagination, creativity, and improvisation skills of the players by inventing funny and original dialogues for a movie without sound. Perfect for enjoying with family or friends.Materials Needed:
A television, projector, or any screen where you can watch a movie or video with dialogues. A remote control or device to mute the sound. Optional: Timer to add a bit of tension.
How to Play:
Choose the Movie or Scene:
Pick a movie or scene of your choice, preferably one with lots of dialogue. If the movie has subtitles, even better! It will help the players visualize the situations.
Mute the Sound:
When the movie or scene is ready, mute the sound completely. Imagination will be the only guide for this game!
Invent the Dialogues:
Players must invent the dialogues they think would fit the scenes they are watching. You can do this freely or set turns for each player to speak.
Suggested Twist:
To make it more challenging, set a time limit (e.g., 30 seconds) for each player to contribute their dialogue. This forces everyone to improvise quickly.
Rate Creativity:
Once each player has proposed their dialogue, others can vote on which one they found the funniest, most original, or most fitting for the situation. If you want to make it more competitive, you can assign points to the responses (e.g., 1 point per vote received).
Switch Roles:
If you have more than one player, you can rotate scenes so everyone has the chance to propose their own dialogues, or let players take on the characters' roles to create more interaction.
Tips for Making the Game More Fun:
Use Different Genres:
Try scenes from different genres (action, comedy, drama, science fiction) to change things up and make the dialogues even more interesting
Add Special Effects:
If you can, add sound effects or background music to give more drama to the scenes while players invent their dialogues. This can create even funnier situations!
Extra Challenge:
Who Wins?
It's not about winning or losing, but enjoying and letting creativity flow. However, if you want to make it competitive, the player with the most points at the end of the game will be the "King of Improvisation."Word guessing games are an excellent form of educational entertainment for children.
