Tuna croquettes are a typical food of Peruvian gastronomy, but at the same time it is not so well known, since few people prepare it. The way it is made consists of cooking ingredients that can be found locally, and the procedure is quite easy.   • 3 tablespoons of margarine.
  • Half cup of plain flour.
  • 2 teaspoons of salt (flush).
  • 2 cups of tuna.
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped onion.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
  • 2 cups bread crumbs.
  • 1 egg.
  • Oil.

Recipe procedure.

  1. In a pot melt the margarine, then add the flour and the milk, seasoned with salt and pepper. 
  2. Cook until a white sauce mass is formed, and once ready, let it cool.
  3. Then add the rest of the ingredients, up to the lemon. 
  4. Form the croquettes, and then dip them in eggs and bread. 
  5. Finally they are fried in abundant oil for 7 or 8 minutes.
