Queque de Coco and Banana

Recipe for parties or cakes.

Everyone knows how delicious the queques are, there are different flavors, sizes and shapes; either in any of their presentations will always have the precise taste to enjoy them at breakfast, in a lunch or at some time where you want to fulfill a whim. In Pepes Pastelería we prepare cakes with homemade taste and today we will share the recipe to prepare a super delicious banana and coconut cake. Let’s see how to prepare this cake.

Ingredients for this recipe.

  • 1 cup of blond sugar
  • 120 ml of oil
  • 113 g of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • from 2 to 3 ripe bananas
  • 3 cups of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 2 cups grated coconut

Procedure of this recipe.

  1. In a bowl, mix white sugar and blond sugar. Melt the butter and add it to the bowl with sugar and beat gently. Add the oil and beat until homogenized.
  2. It’s the turn of the eggs. Add one by one as you go beating.
  3. Crush the banana with a fork and add it to the mixture.
  4. Add the wheat flour and mix until it is homogeneous.
  5. Now we add the vanilla extract, the coconut milk and homogenize.
  6. Add the striped coconut, mixing it gently.
  7. Finally put in a mold and take it to a hot oven for about 80 minutes.
  8. Let it cool for about 2 hours and ready to enjoy the delicious banana and coconut cake.

Note. Perform each step with a lot of patience and enjoying the experience.
