Chupe de Langostinos (Suck of Prawns)

The Chupe de langostinos, is a delicious meal that we can prepare for all occasions, and it is one of the meals we can do to reunite the family, or friends; It can also be accompanied by a special fruit juice, or another drink in particular. Let’s see how to prepare it!

Ingredients for this recipe.

  • ½ kg of shrimp tails, which are clean.
  • 3 oil tablespoons.
  • 4 cloves of fresh garlic.
  • 1 thick chopped onion.
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika.
  • 3 cups of fish broth.
  • 5 cups of chicken broth.
  • 1 cup of peas.
  • 1 kg of chopped potatoes.
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ½ tablespoon of oregano.
  • ¾ cup of cooked rice.
  • 6 eggs.
  • 2-3 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
  • Vinegar to poach the eggs.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Pepper to taste.

Procedure for this recipe.

  1. Wash every ingredient that is edible and use as much hygiene as possible.
  2. Observe if the shrimp tails have a black vein; in this case, it can be removed with a knife making a light and long cut.
  3. In a pot, we have to prepare a dressing with oil, garlic, onion, paprika and salt to taste.
  4. Add on this dressing, our fish broth and the chicken stock (we can prepare this food separately); We also add the peas, the chopped potatoes and cook until they are cooked.
  5. On a large oval frying pan, add ½ cup of water and drops of vinegar. And finally, we add the eggs to be blanched.
  6. When we observe that they are cooked, remove and reserve separately.
  7. To this we add cooked rice, oregano, and parsley. When it is boiled again, toss the shrimp tails and the eggs that we have cooked in step 5 into the pot.
  8. Let cook for 10 minutes approximately, and incorporate the milk and serve with pleasure.
  9. Serve and gather as a family.

Note. It is recommended that you buy ingredients or foods that are healthy and fresh. Do not forget to wash every food always.
