Melon is a delicious fruit that is usually consumed in many ways, and it is prepared in different models, as dessert and juices. For the preparation in juice, a fresh melon is used, and that has the necessary conditions to prepare it. The consumption of this fruit is beneficial, for its set of properties ranging from vitamins and proteins, whose nutritional content is very important for us. There is no doubt that the flavor of this fruit will make a very tasty drink to accompany our favorite meals.

Melon juice


Ingredients:

  • Half a melon cut in half and fresh.
  • ½ cup blonde or white sugar.
  • Ice cubes (depending on the weather).


Recipe procedure.

  1. Peel the whole melon, and squeeze out the rind that contains it, and then set it aside in a clean container.
  2. In our blender glass, add the half cup of sugar, and then the melon cut in small pieces.
  3. Add water up to half of it, and start blending until a concise and uniform smoothie is formed.
  4. Once ready, strain the organic remains, serve in a pitcher, and accompany our favorite meals.

Note: The amount of water that is added to grind the melon, is a minimum amount that serves to easily grind the first smoothie. If you wish to obtain more juice, use more water for each liter to be prepared (use boiled water for this purpose).
