Quinoa is an annual vegetable of the Chenopodiaceae family. The seeds and leaves are the ones consumed for good nutrition. However, the squid is a squid, whose nutritional value is of utmost importance, as it gives us a rich percentage of protein and omega 3. These in turn contribute to our neurological system, growth and development of children.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of quinoa.
  • ½ kg of squid.
  • 4 medium white potatoes.
  • 1 bell pepper.
  • 1 medium onion head (chopped in small squares).
  • 3 teaspoons roasted peanuts.
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil or replace with olive oil.
  • 4 cloves of garlic.
  • Oregano and salt to taste.


Recipe procedure.

  1. Wash the quinoa carefully and put it to boil, once cooked, remove the skin (black color), and cut into pieces.
  2. Make a dressing with oil, ground garlic, onion and oregano.
  3. Add the bell pepper cut in thin strips, the squid seasoned with ground garlic and salt. Let it cook.
  4. Add little by little the quinoa, together with the roasted and ground peanuts. Mix gently, and let it cook for a few minutes.
