The Pisco sour, is an emblematic drink, well known in Peru and in many parts
of the world. Its flavor, its way of presentation and the use of ingredients,
makes this cocktail as unique as our culture. Its preparation, consists of
such a simple procedure, that it can be prepared in a few minutes, and uses
ingredients that are within our reach, to accompany the most important
occasions of our lives. Nowadays, the pisco sour is the drink par excellence
that we all know, and it is very popular because of its uniqueness, which is
why it is considered, the flagship cocktail of Peru. The way to prepare it
varies, but we can follow this basic procedure. Let's see how to prepare it.

Ingredients for the pisco.
- 2 cups (473.18 ml) of fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce (29 ml) of Angostura bitters.
- 3 ounces (87 ml) of Pisco de quebranta.
- 1 ounce (1 oz) of gum syrup.
- 1 ounce of egg white.
- Ice cubes.

Recipe procedure.
- Choose a large glass, and add the ice cubes, and the squeezed lemon juice (the glass, will be used to calculate the amount of pisco sour, that we are going to make).
- Next, add the pisco de quebranta, and the egg white (here it is important to distinguish, and separate the egg white from the egg yolk).
- We add it inside the shaker (the preparation of procedure one, and two), and begin to beat from top to bottom. And let it all mix together.
- We make sure that it is well mixed, and does not contain parts that are still missing to mix; to do this, whisk for 30 seconds. And serve.
- To taste, serve in glasses (as shown in the photo), garnish with Angostura bitters, and serve for the most special occasions of your life.
Definition of terms.
The word sour translates as Agrio. So the correct way to say is Pisco Agrio.
